Paul Alan - Fall Awake

This one is a strange one because of the way I came to play on this record. I happened to be flying home from a Nashville. I think I was at summer NAMM. I sat directly next to a man and his wife. The man, Brian Hardin, and I started chatting about stuff and music came up. Well he happened to be a music producer and his wife (I really should remember her name but I don't) is a singer and they were flying to LA to do some kind of promo for her new record. She is a Christian artist. Well in the conversation it came up that at the time I was playing for Jonatha Brooke and they both happened to be big Jonatha fans. So we exchanged numbers and shortly there after Brian contacted me about possibly playing on this record by Paul that he was producing. The first set of sessions that happened I did in Nashville at a very funky studio near downtown. I forget the name of the place but I remember the owner was a huge Elvis Presley fan and had memorabilia all over the place. The rest of the session was at the trusty Lawnmower and Garden Supply Studio's where I seem to record most of my stuff. The record is Christian pop. Paul has a very good voice and nice melodies. That's really the only Christian record I have done.
